A semi-collaboration with Shweta Narayan, this was originally a watercolor. She scanned in her watercolor and printed it out somewhat funkily, and then we both went in and attacked it with photoshop. This is the first stage, closest to the original, only cropped and reflected. (Well, there are still four layers to it, creating depth and whatnot). Standard photoshop tricks applied. This was "good enough" for a fairly long time, though it spawned a steady trickle of attempts to make it better.
